Research Treats

I have to drive 140 miles one day a week to do research is a small town up North. I sometimes treat myself to lunch at a famous local hamburger joint.
The cheese fries were okay. Good seasonings on the fries but I typically prefer my fries to be a little skinnier and crisper. The cheese sauce was decent though.

Haven't written lately but have a few posts i need to back date and put up when I have time. But since no one reads this it is really just for me! Stumbled across a Bacon Blog today that has me wanting to try all these delicous bacon foods. The best sounds like cotton candy bacon! Hey why not? I just did chocolate covered bacon at the Minnesota State Fair.

Potato Cream Cheese Soup in a Breadbowl

Great place by my house called Wildflower. Love their soups. They have six options that rotate on a daily (and seasonal) basis, except for the potato cream cheese which they have everyday since it is sooo delicious, and my favorite!

Stuffed Omelette

Hmmmm, today I made an delicious omelette stuffed with bacon and gouda cheese.

Love, Love, Love Chompie's. I love their matzo ball soup. HUGE menu. However, I gotta say I was not a fan of the Jewish Sliders I had there today. They sounded good. Brisket and a potato panckaes stuffed in a mini roll. I will def. be back to Chompie's but will never order these again.

Seattle Eats

Love soup but pretty picky about the ones I will eat. This place was great, HUGE selection. This soup was a tomato base with ravioli and parmesan cheese.

Later we stopped into this local pub for a midnight snack of fried pickles!

Road Trip and a Bacon Waffle

Laura and I took a road trip from Seattle to Rosyln, WA to stay at a house in the mountains on the lake. The house and view was gorgeous. We stopped at this restaurant on the drive up for a for a bite to eat. Yummy waffle stuffed with bacon and slathered in butter! It could have used a bit more bacon, but for me there is no such thing as too much bacon!
